Hood fairy tale for adults", this is Neil Jordan's exploration
of dreams, nightmares, the netherworld, folklore and fantasy. A
rich and well photographed film, look for Stephen Rea in an early
appearance as a newlywed with a hairy and long-in-the-tooth disposition.
Alas, the Young Groom tries to remain romantically loyal to his
new bride, yet he simply cannot resist the call of the full moon.
